Comfortable on the wrist at 41mm in silver-tone stainless steel, this handsome tool watch is secured to the wrist via a matching triple-link bracelet and stylized in wear via a blue unidirectional bezel. “I love this watch. The Eco Drive movement is incredibly accurate. The case is right in the Goldielocks zone and feels great on the wrist. The size and style make this watch very versatile. The sapphire crystal and ISO certification were big selling points for me. As someone who is not currently a diver, it’s definitely making me dive-curious. Great watch!”

“For the price point, this is a very nice watch and truly competes with much higher-end options. The Citizen Promaster Dive watch is running on the Eco-Drive E168 caliber quartz movement, which is accurate to about plus or minus 15 seconds a month, though many users report higher real-world accuracy, and is universally celebrated among watch enthusiasts as a robust “set and forget” workhorse, capable of withstanding extreme conditions while maintaining exceptional timekeeping. With 200m water resistance, sapphire crystal, a unidirectional “clicky” bezel, excellent lume, 5-year warranty and powered by eco-drive. What more could you ask for? You're getting a lot of watch for the price, plus I think it’s incredibly comfortable to wear and keeps better time than an automatic, and its ISO certified. While many fashion watches feature dive-style aesthetics, the ISO certification is the dividing line that separates a dive-inspired watch from an actual life-saving piece of diving gear. Because these standards are strict, Citizen restricts the term "diver's watch" exclusively to models that comply with this regulation This watch can perform many roles, it could be your knockaround weekend watch, a boating watch, or pretty much anywhere since it balances aesthetics and functionality, especially since you don't have to worry about batteries or winding it up or losing time or resetting the date thanks to that wonderful eco-drive. My very minor complaints are the bracelet has a little more wiggle room than I personally like but you can find other bracelets online made specifically for Citizen Promaster Diver. I'm not a fan of the pin and collar system for the links, but once you get it sized its not an issue, especially since you have the tool-less micro adjust clasp. The fact that this watch is obtainable new from Citizen for under $400 makes it an outstanding choice.”

“This is my first quality watch and must say I’m very pleased. The fit and finish are first rate. The look and feel are fantastic. If I had one issue, it is that the bezel is not centred at top dead centre. It’s off to the right about one degree. This will be my everyday watch for years to come.”

“The watch is beautiful! It’s the perfect present for my soon to be husband I’ll be gifting him on our wedding day! If I had to say one negative it would be, citizen gave the option to leave a note, which I thought would be on like a small card in the box like Amazon does when you leave notes with gifts. Instead, the “note” was just left on the receipt, which I obviously wouldn’t plan on giving to the person the gift was intended for so thought that was an odd place to put it.”

“So far I haven't had the watch long enough to formulate any complaints I purchased this because it is solar powered, sapphire crystal, and it has date. These are qualities I plan to enjoy a long time. What I don't enjoy and why not 5 stars is the bracelet has a cheap feel and it bothers me enough I'm hoping to replace it soon. Honestly, I won't be able to enjoy the watch until I can get a better quality bracelet put on. So to be more accurate, the watch is a 5 and the bracelet a 3 at best.”

“My new Blue Promaster Dive BN0260-54L looks great & keeps time nearly perfectly. Posititves: Good bezel action, sapphire crystal is a great feature, 200m water resistant, Eco Drive for very long battery life, and I am told that the maintenance service from Citizen is fairly reasonable. A few areas for improvement: Subjective feel on wrist is that it is a little small - a perfect size would be 42 or 42.5mm, and with a bigger date window. As it is, the date is hard to read and certain numbers get lost in the small space. I do like the micro adjustable feature on the bracelet for perfect fit, but think that the bracelet in general could be a little more substantial and refined. The lume on the dials is good - not great but good. If Citizen kept all the positives and made a few changes to the date window, small increase in size, made the bracelet a little better and bumped up the dial lume, it might be the perfect tool watch. I would pay a bit extra and feel like it was still worth it. Overall, good execution and a good everyday watch or backup watch. 4.5 stars.”

“The 40mm case size is perfect and the quality and finish is excellent. The appearance of the face is straightforward and uncluttered - a classic look. Accuracy is surprisingly great even by quartz standards. You get all the advantages of Citizen's other divers in a much more wearable size.”
