I don't dive as much as I did when I lived in Okinawa but I like the style, durability and handsomeness of this watch, For lake diving at shallow depth it makes me feel at home on longer dives.

My 2nd Promaster Aqualand. Got my 1st right after I received my scuba cert. in 1998. Wasn't an Ecodrive so every 2 years I sent it for battery replacement. This new one is definitely an upgrade. The black face makes it easier to tell the time, though the depth and hour hand can be confused. Love the look, the gold bezel is a nice touch. A solid good looking everyday timepiece. And the depth gauge is, for me, the biggest selling point. Wouldn't rely on it as a primary on dives, it's a good back up. Doesn't have a confusing menu to work through like a wrist dive computer. And it's perfect for freediving. Besides the depth/hour hand issue the biggest issue is the wrist band: too short. I don't have a large wrist but use the 2nd to last hole. .I'd need the extension over a 2 mil. wetsuit, and it would get lost in my gear bag. Over all I'm thrilled. Looks great, Ecodrive, integrated depth gauge Why have a dive watch with out that feature?

Very Nice and well built watch. Giving 4 stars and not 5 because I feel as if the band needs to be longer like my previous Aqualand.

I have over 10 watches in my collection and most of them are Citizen watches. This watch is a head turner. I love the look and feel of this watch. I personally don't like rubber straps (unless they are paired with a sports or a military style (rugged type)) watch case. Once I received this watch I changed out the rubber strap with a ballistic black nylon watch strap.

I bought this watch because of the unique looks compared to the many date only dive watches available on the market. It has wowed me to the max. This watch comes packed with lots of features perfect for serious divers. However, it doesn't sacrifice good looks for the increased performance. The gold looks a lot better in person than in the photos. And the dial looks a lot less cluttered in person than in the photos. Seriously, I have four citizen watches and they all look much better in person than in the photos Citizen has on their website. This watch looks thick but it fits pretty well on my small wrist and I barely notice the relative thickness of the case.
