Tsuki-yomi A-T Reviews

When breakthrough technology and spectacular design meet, the Tsuki-yomi A-T is reading the moon. It’s the world’s first moonphase watch combined with atomic timekeeping innovation from Citizen, and this 30th Anniversary model is nothing short of impressive. The styling embodies the moon’s surface and a window at 6 o’clock displays the current moon phase. The timepiece measures 43mm in a silver-tone Super Titanium™ case, where sharp faceted edges pair with an elevated design throughout for an eye-catching aesthetic on the wrist. The blue dial works in tandem with black accents and silver-tone touches for a display that’s as handsome as it is legible. In addition to its running time, the watch features a moon phase display, world time in 24 time zones, a perpetual calendar, and day-date functionality. Powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology to provide light-powered vitality without ever needing a battery. Water resistant up to 100 meters. Caliber H874.

This is my most recent watch purchase and maybe my last. It’s so cool! The Tsuki-Yomi has so many features for such a low price. The moonphase feature alone is worth the price, but it’s also powered by the sun AND there’s radio controlled atomic timekeeping! The day of the week and date are easy to read, and you can check the charge and time setting at the push of a button. If you love features, this is the watch for you. I like the titanium bracelet. Super lightweight. Watch the videos provided on the website to help you set it up, and you’ll be ready to go in minutes. You’ll set it once and be set for life.

I love the look and the functionality to watch itself, but the bracelet leaves much to be desired and only has two micro adjustment positions and on my wrist if I remove a link to fit and use the outer micro adjustment position it’s way too tight but if I add a link and use the inner micro adjustment position it’s way too loose an old watch I have kicking around from Walmart for $59 has 7 micro adjustment positions it doesn’t need that many but more than two would have been nice I can’t even use a aftermarket expandable clasp because the ends of the bracelet are two different widths

I already owned the Eco-Drive Promaster Land, and have been extremely happy with the quality and functionality. I purchased The Tsuki-yomi A-T thinking it would be of the same quality. I understood that this is titanium, but the overall weight of the watch made this feel cheap. The bracelet itself has almost no weight, has a finish that looks lesser in quality and even the moon image appears to make it look like the glass is smudged at various angles. As for functionality, it is similar to the Promaster land, except when it comes to receiving the radio signal. The Promaster has received a signal each day for the entire time I have had it, this watch struggles to receive a signal. I have since replaced the bracelet with a suitable black leather strap, but for the price this has been a serious let down.

I've been wearing this for about a week and it has exceeded expectations based on some comments. (1) The lume is perfectly adequate even at 3am; not light-up-the-room brilliant but I have no trouble telling the time many hours after the watch has stopped being exposed to a light source. (2) The lighter weight does not translate into a "cheap feel" to the watch once it's on your wrist. The only challenging part is learning how to adjust the bracelet, since these are collared pins. Find a YouTube video to see how to take out and reinsert links before embarking on an adjustment if you haven't adjusted one of these before. The titanium case/bracelet, atomic clock synch, moonphase, and power meter all check boxes for elements that were lacking in previous purchases in my collection. I've purchased far more expensive watches, but this one delivers on the value proposition.

A long time Citizen fan. This watch replaced my original moon phase watch. Great quality and performance as well as its handsome looks. Echo Drive and atomic setting is a great combination.

This is a great watch. I love the look of it. The radio time adjustment is also really cool. It stays exactly in sync with my phone, computer and other clocks that use internet time. The only thing I would like, that I have not been able to find, are 1/2 links for the bracelet. Either that or having more than two quick adjusts on the clasp. Full links with minimal micro adjustments make it hard to get a good fit. It's either sliding up and down my arm or it's a bit too snug. I may put a strap on it, which would solve the issue.

As a space nut this watch does it for me. What a great addition to my collection (both watches and space memorabilia). Light, classy, sharp.
