Read CITIZEN Reviews

When breakthrough technology and spectacular design meet, the Tsuki-Yomi A-T is reading the moon. It’s the world’s first moonphase watch combined with atomic timekeeping innovation from Citizen, and this 30th Anniversary model is nothing short of impressive. The styling embodies the moon’s surface and a window at 6 o’clock displays the current moon phase. The timepiece measures 43mm in a silver-tone Super Titanium™ case, where sharp faceted edges pair with an elevated design throughout for an eye-catching aesthetic on the wrist. The deep red dial works in tandem with black accents and silver-tone touches for a display that’s as handsome as it is legible. In addition to its running time, the watch features a moon phase display, world time in 24 time zones, a perpetual calendar, and a day-date functionality. Powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology to provide light-powered vitality without ever needing a battery. Water resistant up to 100 meters. Caliber H874.

I purchased this watch hopeful that it would be everything the website and YouTube videos portrayed it to be. I was not dissapointed. This is one of the most technologically advanced items I own. It's beautifully crafted and works flawlessly. I'm simply amazed at all that it does while looking more like art than technology. Citizen has knocked it out of the park with this one!

I recently came to appreciate watches and what wearing one can do for your mindset. Constantly aware of the inevitable passing of time and how precious such a thing is. When headed into a licensed dealer to buy my first “real” timepiece, a different brand and make that I had researched, this watch caught my eye as I waited for the clerk and I couldn’t shake how beautiful it was. I walked out that day without it but for a month, it sat with me that this watch existed. I called my brother after seeing it and after he said “did you get it?” Meaning the watch I already set my mind to before entering the store, I confirmed “yes” only to add “but a Citizen watch put me in a crisis”. Some personal background, my wedding band is black Tungsten (matches bezel) and my favorite color is purple (matches dial). Since I was a child, I was fascinated with space and to pay homage to that childlike dream, everything I own that’s meant to inspire wonder is astronaut/space themed. My gamertag and online persona has always been “Astro”. As soon as I saw the moon phase and the red moon dial……it had its grips on me. The “red” is more of a dark magenta. I haven’t seen it appear red in any light, which I prefer. The black bezel, which is featured on the “red” version of this watch unlike any other color way in the Tsuki-Yomi collection, matches my wedding band beautifully. I love how brilliant the bracelet looks on this watch although I wish they had used a more premium mechanism for the clasp (small and only knitpick). With my other watch, I had to swap out the bracelet immediately for leather to preserve it as after only a day at my computer with my wrist resting on the desk as I typed….scratches appeared. That is NOT an issue here. This watch feels like a tank. The Titanium feels light and has already taken some hits as I’m getting used to moving with a watch on my wrist and the watch looks fresh out of the box still. All in all, this watch is personal. I’ve never felt like something was made with me in mind but this piece feels bespoke to my style and character. If you’re interested at all, you won’t regret your decision and I highly encourage you to indulge. I didn’t even talk about technology because of how long winded this review is but my goodness, you’re getting one of the most jam packed pieces of equipment out here. The radio controlled self setting is so cool to witness.

The Tsuki-yomi A-T BY1018-55X watch is a nice watch, which keeps excellent time. My location does not always receive a strong radio signal from Colorado for the atomic time setting. All the watch configurations work well. The only issues I have are I'd like to see the date window larger or a date crystal magnifier. maybe this can't be done with sapphire crystals. Second the luminescent material on the minute and hour hands and the fixed hour luminosity indicators are very weak. I read my watch in low light often and there is no luminosity so I can't read the dial even after being in strong light, The luminosity fades quickly. I suggest that a new luminosity material be applied or use tritium. This is a mid-range priced watch. Don't skimp on the price of a quality luminosity material that lasts after exposure to light. If tritium is used the luminosity will last 24 hours a day for a half live of about 12+ years.

I had to return the item due to the size. It is smaller than I thought.

Really neat awesome watch Easy setup 1.check time zone & adjust 2.check atomic clock make sure 9 o’clock is toward Boulder, COyou can force the watch to sync with atomic clock see instructions ez to do. 3. Check hemisphere N or S & set 4 check to make sure you watch is communicating with boulder. Once it syncs with Boulder Atomic Clock, the watch time, date, moon settings will be perfect if it communicates with the Atomic clock. Watch a video on you tube or download instructions it takes about 15 minutes using video. Absolutely stunning watch

This is a gorgeous timepiece. I was looking for a functional watch with a moon phase. This watch works absolutely brilliantly, and looks amazing. It is also shockingly lightweight, making it comfortable for all day long wear.

The watch is pretty, the dial colors are not as vivid as product photos, but more subtle. Super light too.
