I thought I'd love this watch. It's really difficult to find one that is small and has a classic design, but doesn't cost a fortune. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get it to sit flat and comfortably on my wrist. Part of the problem was that the lugs are not curved at all, and don't follow the shape of the arm bones. The other problem was the strap, which wasn't very flexible. It was also much too long, wrapping almost back to the opposite lug. Sadly, I had to return it.

Ever since I saw a mini version of a certain luxury brand's iconic watch, I've been on the hunt for something similar in stainless steel. So, when the Fio Roma appeared in my Google search, I knew that my search was over. The Roman numerals, brancards, cabochon embedded winding crown, and textured leather strap are a nod to quiet luxury at a fraction of the cost. It's also powered by light, so there are no batteries to replace! I'm very pleased with my new Fio Roma. It will, without a doubt, get plenty of wrist time.
