Classic lines and hints of romance make this newest timepiece to our women’s collection, the Citizen L Mae, a glamorous addition of sustainable luxury. With a 26mm case design inspired by a vintage perfume bottle and featuring the curved, sleek lines of May bells, the bezel shape has a distinct feature at the 3 o’clock position, where the crown resembles an elegant perfume stopper. \r\n\r\nFeaturing a white, mother-of-pearl dial made of recycled materials, including a recycled polycarbonate base under the dial, the display is showcased via a sleek, two-tone stainless steel case and bracelet. The dial also has a diamond that gives focus to the 8 o’clock position and is finished with a sapphire crystal. “I bought this as a replacement watch for my Wife, who only wears watches when outside of the house. I am the watch nerd, and she just wants something that compliments her jewelry, which ranges from gold, platinum and white gold, so I needed a watch to work with everything. There is also no way she would put up with an automatic or manual wind (my preference) and frequently complains when here present watch dies and needs a battery... so I did my research and went with an ecodrive, silver with gold bezel and mother of pearl dial. this was not a particularly expensive watch, but they also weren't giving them away.. I am totally ok with dropping a couple grand on my Wife for a watch, but this is what she wanted after I showed it to her, and in person, I have to admit that the finishing is on par with watches I own that cost far more! the mother of pear dial thing, I thought was kind of whatever... however in person, it is fabulous, especial in the sun!! Citizen had the option of sizing the watch prior to shipment (they included the removed links). don't bother if you are a guy buying for your wife... I didn't go small enough, and she needed to have a couple more links pulled at the local jeweler anyway. In summary, great looking watch, Wife loves it, shipping was fast, price was fine... what else can be said!”

“I got this as a gift for my daughter's White Coat Ceremony and I love it, and best of all she (and her VERY picky mother) loves it too!! At 26mm it's a little on the small side (I'm old and wear 42mm men's sizes), but it's perfect for her young eyes. I have no doubt the movement is fine, but the mother of pearl dial, the very contrasty blue (love that shade) hands, and the little blue gem are perfect! I don't know how they did this, but the two tone is muted, and brilliantly executed. If you look directly, it looks like basic stainless steel, but side on, you can see the gold; like I said, it's very subtle, but very nicely done. The only thing I might change about this watch is to size it at 29mm or even 37mm; it would be spectacular. Citizen, if you make a 37mm, let me know, and I'll exchange this one :)”
