“I love this watch!! I just purchased it last week. It looks just like the picture. The case looks like it is somewhere between gold and rose gold. It did not glow in the dark at first. I put it in the center of a masking tape roll and placed my phone on the tape roll with the flashlight shining directly on the watch for a few hours. It now works perfectly! I am very happy with it and am enjoying wearing it!!”

“I bought this for myself at a Citizen store and after several disappointing watches from other brands this watch was a breath of fresh air! I love that it’s solar powered! I was prepared to give it 5 stars, when I started reading reviews saying that it was supposed to glow. Mine definitely doesn’t do that and I have been wearing it for months. It doesn’t really bother me but now that I know it is supposed to glow I think that would have been cool. I might contact citizen to see if I can get it replaced with its warranty. Idk maybe that’s something everyone else can look into whose watch doesn’t glow.”

“Purchased the watch for my wife as a gift. Unfortunately it did not light up as described. Had it in direct sunlight for 3 days and still nothing. Very disappointed. Returned.”

“Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the nighttime special feature doesn’t work, even after my watch has been sitting in the direct sun for one week. Too bad. It’s why I purchased the watch.”

“The watch itself is great and the girlfriend really likes it. Like others have said, what should be seen in the dark, does not appear in the dark. I asked the girlfriend if she wanted to to return the watch for another and she said she likes the watch just as it is.”

“Bought this for my wife’s birthday. The idea of the stars shining sold me. BUT the celestial night does not shine at all even after exposing to several days of sunlight. Disappointing. Will be sending back. I own about 30 citizen watches between myself and wife. 1st one to let me down. Three stars because it looks great.”

“I bought this watch a month ago. I did download the pdf manual and read it before my watch arrived. I did expose it to 30 hours of sunlight. The night fluorescence does work and the human eye best sees the stars and “M I C K E Y” when looking 2” away from the watch (similar to viewing stars in the sky looking off to the side.) The gold is gold, not rose gold.”
