Mickey Mouse Takes Hollywood Reviews

Disney Mickey Mouse’s future is so bright, he’s wearing shades as he hits Hollywood, the final destination in a series of four travel-themed watches designed by Disney artists John and Shelley Loter. He’s ready for his close-up in the place that made him a star. The gold-tone stainless steel 40mm case frames a silver dial featuring the Disney icon strutting down a film strip against a backdrop of searchlights, palm trees, and a vintage limousine, while art deco-style markers add to the vintage vibe. A black leather strap with red contrast stitching complete the look. Check out the retro-style suitcase on the dial and etched on the case back: it now has four stickers! Also on the case back are etched “Time to Fly” and “Since 1928”—the year Mickey Mouse first graced the silver screen. And this blockbuster timepiece is sustainably powered by any light with Eco-Drive and never needs a battery.

Purchased for Mother’s Day for my wife. She loves Disney watches. My wife has over 100. She really loves the ECO. Not having to replace batteries is a major plus. She thinks this watch is very cute. I would buy more Disney watches for her if more had leather bands. She can’t wear watches with metal bands. Very happy with her present.
