I have had this watch for several years and am thrilled with it! I get frequent compliments on it with comparisons to the Movado. The only negative is that the leather band wore out after five years of constant wear and could only be replaced by a Citizen repair center. Love that this watch does not need battery changes.

I love the look and feel of this watch, but the poor quality of the strap is impossible to ignore. Within 6-9 months one of the strap loops completely fell off. 3 months later and the second loop is coming apart and on the verge of falling off. I wear the watch daily, but it not exposed to harsh conditions at all. I work a desk job and take it off before showering to keep it dry. It just doesn't hold up well to everyday life. I contacted Citizen customer service after trying to use their website to look up strap replacement info based on my watches model (and getting an error on their website) and they informed me I could buy a replacement strap. The replacement strap will cost half of what I paid for the original watch - no thanks! TLDR; really nice looking watch, leather strap is awful quality and you'll get a year out of it, Citizen customer service responsive but offer nothing for existing customers with failing watch straps - steer clear!

I was gifted this watch 3 years ago, and already need to replace the glass face because it is so scratched up. The strap also broke from wear and tear. Neither of these things are covered under the warranty! The last thing about this watch is that it's *really* hard to read in poor light, because the silver doesn't contrast very well with the black background and the lack of numbers makes it harder to get your bearings on the time.

Got as a Christmas gift. I like the all black, clean look, not a lot of features except time (obviously) and the day number (ex. 25th).
