“I bought this watch (Promaster Skyhawks 830)as a replacement for an old eco drive with both digital and analog timekeeping. Price was reasonable and fair for the features and functions. I do like being able to set both the digital and analog portions at the same time unlike the older model I tried to get repaired that this watch replaced. I do like the Promaster Skyhawk 830 has illumination for the digital section for when the luminescent dial is too dim. Very versatile and functional watch.”

“I needed a watch that was easy to use to switch time zones and I didn’t want the hassle of having one that used a replaceable battery. This was just what I needed and the digital display works very well for my needs to see the second time zone at a glance.”

“Looks great. But, MIP display all but useless for chronograph information. Also, the MIP is a negative display - it changes to positive for setting, but back to negative after setting. The negative display is frustratingly hard to see in any but the brightest light conditions, and the very small display is also difficult to read quickly in the cockpit. Finally, for this price point Citizen should have included radio sync time setting capability. I returned my U830 and haven’t missed it. For slightly more money an Apple Watch Ultra 3 is much more capable and tough. Yes you have to charge it every 2 day - but so what? You have to charge your cell phone too, so…. Disappointed. Really wanted to like this watch as all have all previous versions of the SkyHawk, Navihawk…..etc.”

“This is a great travel watch. Looks good, is tough, and has a lot of useful features. Being able to display two times simultaneously is super useful, as is having different options to show for the calendar and world time features. The alarm tone is a little quiet, but other than that everything seems to work great. Having the detailed incoming light statistics available to see is pretty neat, it lets you understand what situations work well for charging the watch. Physically, the watch is well-constructed and looks really nice. The lume is decent and the backlight makes the screen readable. I'm not sure when I'd ever use the slide rule, but it works surprisingly well! My only wish is that it was a bit smaller. I have a small wrist and it's a large watch, especially by thickness. If Citizen released a 40mm watch with the same analog-digital module, I'd buy it.”
