“Great watch. Needs some work on the smart side. I generally just used it as an analog watch….. until it stopped charging. Cleaned contacts and tried three new cables. NOTE. Cables are always out of stock through Citizens. I now have a $450 bracelet that looks like a watch.”

“This is my 2nd go at a Citizen smart watch and once again they failed to deliver. I understand that the watch being a hybrid, the smart features would be less than that of an Apple or Samsung watch but the tracking numbers (sleep, steps) are off by 5-7%. Plus I couldn't get notifications to work on my Motorola Razr plus 2023. Very disappointed!!!”

“Great watch. I really like it. The step counter is terrible. It only counts 50 to 60% of my steps. The main reason I bought this watch was for the step counter. Also bottom center counter on the watch face I use is always on 0. I think it's for running. I'm 72. I don't run. No directions on how to change just this one part if it can be changed at all.”

“After purchasing the silver CZ Citizen smartwatch last April, which is fantastic, I recently bought the black metal band CZ. This watch will connect to my android and displays a network error code. I am sending the watch back to Amazon. Citizen is a solid and reputable brand and I will try again by ordering a replacement.”

“I replaced an older Citizen Smart Watch. I like the new one, but would prefer a regular watch band that is more adjustable. A local jeweler adjusted the new band, but the watch doesn’t fit right on my wrist.”

“I used to be a big fan of Citizen watches. My father gave me my first Citizen watch 45 years ago. For the next 20 years, I continued to use Citizen watches. I bought this watch during Christmas time and had high hopes for it. It has a very stylish design and finish, though it is a little heavier compared to regular smartwatches. However, it is not SMART at all. The Citizen watch app must remain open on my phone. Once the app is closed, it disconnects the Bluetooth connection, and it takes a long time and several attempts to reconnect. When the watch disconnects from the phone, I receive no notifications. The step tracking is completely inaccurate. I tested it by sitting down and just swinging my hand, and the watch counted that as steps. The watch display font is too small. The LED light is supposed to turn on by double-tapping, but it often doesn't respond. The customized watch face has very limited options, so I ended up using one of the preset faces by Citizen. Even then, my watch keeps reverting to its basic default face often. I've also experienced the Bluetooth connection with my phone completely resetting for no apparent reason! I had to remove the existing connection and reconfigure the watch as a new device on my phone. Initially, I rated this watch one star. The reason I added another star is because of the battery life. I only need to charge it every other week, and the battery really lasts a long time. Compared to other smartwatches on the market, I think this one has the longest battery life. In conclusion, I bought this watch to test it and see if it could replace my other smartwatches. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this watch to anyone. If buying this watch as a regular watch, it is too heavy. It is absolutely not a replacement or comparable to any market-leading smartwatch.”

“Will not stay connected will not show any notifications. Reset the watch deleted the app reinstalled the app reset the watch. Will work showing notifications for about a week then right back to the same issue will not stay connected and will not show notifications when connected. What a waste on a nice looking watch”
