An iconic classic is reimagined in the polished style of the new Promaster Dive Automatic men’s watch by Citizen. Going deeper into the history of the original version of this diving watch, it was used by the Italian Navy and released in 1989 for the new generation of dive watch enthusiasts. A design element that stands out is the distinctive, serrated bezel design that was inspired by a fugu, the Japanese name for pufferfish. Featuring a 3-piece, 44mm case, sapphire crystal and a silver-tone stainless steel case and bracelet, the green rotating bezel with an easy-grip aluminum ring surrounds the green dial and luminous hands and markers, while the case back features an engraving of a fugu or pufferfish. This technically advanced and stylish sport watch comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box and is ISO compliant with a screw-down crown and water resistant to 200 meters. Caliber 8204.

“I have purchased several Citizen watches over the years. Their fit, finish, and reliability have always impressed me. I have no doubt this watch will live up to the standards I have come to expect from this brand. The green bezel and face are striking! I’ve received multiple complaints already. The crown placed at the 8 o’clock position for left hand wearers is a stroke of genius! Run, don’t walk, and buy this watch!”

“I purchased this watch over a year ago. Everything about this piece is spot on. It wears smaller than the size it measures,and has been quite accurate. I plan to get another color eventually. Well done Citizen!”

“Citizen watches, in my opinion, are ones of the best looking watches. I have 5 eco- drive, all 44mm, watches. They are excellent with accuracy. However, my automatic promaster diver with green face is so fast; it is 10 minutes faster a month which is not my expectation of a Citizen watch. I bought another one, since they look so great, as a gift and that one is fast as well. I am just wondering if this is normal for an automatic watch at this level. I am thinking about getting a Seiko automatic to how it is. Does anyone have any feedback on this? Thank you!”

“I bought this watch and went for a fast one hour walk. It gained 26 seconds. I called up Citizen and they sent me a new watch. I went for a fast 30 minute walk and the new watch gained 12 seconds.”
