This induction cooker has been great to use so far. I have never used induction before and had recently been using gas and the transition was unbelievably easy. I haven't burnt anything yet. key word being YET haha.
This portable induction cooker is good because:
1) It starts at 1200w - Great for using solar and batteries in a caravan (I am doing this).
2) The 800w setting runs CONTINUOUSLY and doesn't cut out, or at least hasn't cut out for me yet. The lowest setting at 500w does cycle the power and it draws more that the 800w, this would suggest its cycling from either 1000 or 1200w. (Cycling refers to on/off heat delivery and can make simmering near impossible on some devices as the on/off is too long and boils, then sit, then boils, then sits etc.
2) Very easy to use and understand.
3) VERY QUIET - I can't compare to other induction cookers, but I am sensitive to sounds and this is a very quiet fan. A few people in these reviews have stated how quiet this unit is.
