“I have only used it to test the power levels. Boiled 9L of water in just over 20 minutes. Checked the real power and it does run at 2800 watt at peak power which I cannot say for the cheap 2000w cheap retail units. The induction power generator has maybe three power levels, although there are 15 levels on the dial. When it operates at a level in between these power levels the power cycles on and off for example 5 seconds on and 5 seconds off.”
“Sturdy and powerful cooking tool, but the turning dial is misleading as one can hardly control the temperature (20 C steps and rather imprecise) or play with the limited positions within its power range. The description said it has a precise temperature control, which I totally disagree. Borrelli, however, had a decent costumer service and I was able to talk to people who spoke perfect English.”
