I put in two separate rooms, one being in a room there were cats liter boxes and food, and a couple of accidents I could actually still smell even after I cleaned my carpet. I could not seem to get the smell to go all the way away until I put one Clarifion in that specific room. Within a few hours, I could not smell a thing! All odors had gone! I even asked my daughter if she could smell anything and she said 'no.' I actually bought an extra one which I plan to give to my daughter since she has two cats.

“There's no electrical outlet near my litterbox so I'm using an extension cord which the instructions caution against doing. No other place for the litter box.
It does work reasonably well. I get an occassional whiff of cat pee but much less than before.”
