“I a only assume these are good considering the protective packaging it comes in. I haven't had the units long enough to have to replace the bulb. But ifyou do purchase the units that clean the air with a UV light, know that all UVbulbs lose their effectiveness over time and you will need to replace them. This is for the CLARIFION units or a whole house system. (The difference being the last time I had to change a bulb for a whole house system, it cost me $450.!). So when you order the filters, add the bulbs to your order if you want to maintain the quality of the filter.”
