Thank your four-star rating! It works best without objects blocking the front of it. When plugged in behind a couch or other piece of furniture, it will be less effective. We recommend plugging in an outlet in an open area. It is also advisable to place Clarifion near windows and doors to get the optimal air ionization it needs.
