“We were slightly disappointed by our sip and paint class on saturday. To start, the room we were in was difficult to find with no clear signs. When we arrived we didn’t get an introduction from the teacher as the previous class was over running. Whilst we waited for the class to finish, three other people who had got there just before us has been offered a “glass” (paper cup) of wine, we didn’t get this offer. When we finally sat down for the class (about 15-20mins late), our teacher seemed very rushed and was evidently ill with a nasty cough. She gave us a brief intro and mentioned that she would come round and help us with any questions we had. We were all served wine and very simple snacks (plain crisps on a paper plate). We did get taught how to mix paints which was fun. However, when we got given the paint brushes, they had seen better days. The teacher then disappeared and kind of left us all to it with no help like she had previously mentioned. All in all, the class could do with a little face lift- maybe some reusable plastic wine glasses, some music in the background, or even some candles/ fairy lights on the table just create a bit of atmosphere and ambience.”
