This was the first time my daughter and I did Pottery Throwing, and it was amazing! Even though we worked individually on our own models, we had to help each other - it was like a team building session with lots of fun and laughter, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Ester is really nice, helpful and hands-on. She made sure the item you wanted to make was the best it could be, and she also told us her back story which was extremely interesting. I would 100% recommend pottery throwing. It's fun and makes you feel proud that you made something that you can later look at sitting on your shelf at home.

I really enjoyed this class and Abi was such a great instructor, very encouraging to beginners and would jump in and help when needed. The small class size also made it a nice atmosphere to interact with others and for help to be spread around evenly Within this class we learned how to wedge the clay, cone and centre it and the basics of shaping

Brilliant class with Abi. Wonderfully enthusiastic and informative teacher. Managed to make 4 items myself (my partner did 6!). Really looking forward to seeing how they’ve turned out when collecting them in a few weeks. Would deffo recommend and will be keeping my eyes out for classes with Abi too!

Solo visited in August 2025, upon arrival Abi made me feel very welcome and at ease. I had never done anything like this before but support and guidance was given throughout the session, an easy to follow demonstration and help during potting. Abi was a fantastic teacher, kind, patient and helpful. I am very happy with my final pieces which all turned out better than I expected! I would highly recommend this experience as I had a lot of fun!
