The class was excellent! So much fun and it feels great to come home with something that you carved yourself. Tim from The Green Wood Guild was an excellent teacher and made me and everyone else really feel at home in his studio. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone.

It's a long day, but it flies by, Tim organises it really well, and everyone walks away with a 3 legged stool. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. A couple of the bench making class were in with us too, finishing off their benches and that looked great too. The City Farm is fun to walk around at lunch time. You can feed the goats.

Really enjoyable and rewarding course. After 8 hours, we all left with a really beautiful and useful stool, made with our own hands. You’ll learn a lot about tools, techniques and your own capabilities - under Tim's expert and patient guidance. Interestingly, the course of 6 people was split evenly both by age (under 30 vs over 50) and gender, which made for a very good mix. This was my 2nd course with Tim - following spatula carving 8 months ago - and I look forward to the next one!

Amazing class!!! Tim made the class relaxed, enjoyable, and informative for my 12 year old son and myself. He explained clearly, step by step, how to build the stool, from selecting the wood for the legs and seat to scraping for finishing. My son was smiling from ear to ear as he carried his stool home. Worth every penny.

This class was a present for my great niece so I joined in too. It's so satisfying to come home with something useful that I've made myself. Our tutor was patient and encouraging, and bailed me out of a hole when I messed up. And on the tube home I couldn't resist a bit of "show and tell". We both really enjoyed our day. ADJ
