“Super fun and you take home a cool ceramic that you have mended with ❤️ and gold.
The hosts Brandon and Lee were great - they cracked jokes, maintained an upbeat and well-paced workshop. Demos through and check-ins to ensure your ceramicwasn'ta disaster. The venue was lovely – a modern studio with different floors. There were about 12 of us, a mix of ages - oldies and millennials. Mini workshops are a great way to spend an afternoon - I would definitely do this again with friends or buy it as a gift for someone.”
“Brandon and Lee hosted a wonderful Kintsugi session today, I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. From start to finish it was a highly organised class and the structure and group approach to the tasks was very thought out and easy to follow. Waiting times were filled with information about the philosophy and history of the art as well as some banter. I attended this on my own, everyone else was in pairs so I was worried I would feel odd but I didn’t at all. Lots of practical help when needed and very pleased with the outcome.”
“What a wonderful class! I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this class easily exceeded my expectations. Brandon was an excellent guide for someone new to Kintsugi. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and informative throughout the session. I felt immediately welcome on arrival, and the sense of enjoyment stayed with me throughout the class. Brandon was ably assisted by Lee, and the two combined brilliantly!”
“Incredible class. The teacher was fantastic and so knowledgable, but also made the class fun and entertaining. I was grateful for all the support offered in the class so that my pottery turned out as well as it did.”
“great fun, made interesting by Lee and Brandon with philosophy and history of kintsugi weaved into the workshop. Very clear instructions and help when needed.”
