Our teacher Judith was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We learnt a chain stitch and double and treble crochet and we're given 2 balls of yarn, a crochet hook and details instructions to take away. Another attendee was left handed and struggled learning the 'right-handed' way that Judith was able to teach. She was advised to book a session with another colleague who is able to teach left handed crochet, so unless you are ambidextrous check in advance which collegue is running the class. We were given hints, demonstrations and tips and had a great time and came home feeling positive that we are well on our way to being able to carry on crocheting.

My daughter came to this class having tried to follow some you tube videos at home with difficulty. She left with the beginnings of a blanket and is so much more happy and confident in her understanding. Excellent class, excellent teacher

I really enjoyed my beginner crochet class in Rugby. My teacher (Katrina-so sorry if I remembered your name wrong!!!) was amazing. I was the only one in the class, which was really nice. She explained really well and was happy to go at my speed. It was very calm and relaxed. We practiced rows and even made a granny square! She also recommended some YouTube channels and some Hobbycraft tutorials so I could practice at home

Had a beginner’s crochet course at Rugby with Judith. She was very knowledgeable and patient. Taught us the basic chain stitch, double crochet and treble crochet in the 1.5 hours we had. Would recommend this course to anyone looking for some in person guidance. Thanks Judith
