Ellie created a supportive, relaxed atmosphere for our group of beginners. She used the given diagrams as well as her own way of making the stitches to start us off and then went to indivudals to help out as needed. If we asked for the next stage - learning how to do trebles after tackling the doubles, she suggested variations and ideas. A great introduction to crochet and her pictures of her little green frogs would inspire us to book another class. It was nice to have our own bag with an extra ball of wool and the crochet hook to take away. Thank you.

I went with a friend to do the beginners crochet class. We were given a bag of goodies which contained: a crochet hook, 2 big balls of wool and instructions all for us to take away after the class. We learnt how to do a single, double and triple line. I had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed the whole time.

Teacher clearly expert at crochet. Venue v poor - 5 of us crammed around 3 sides of a small table in a busy back office. Handouts poor - not in alignment with tutor. Products provided of poor quality - wool split easily and my hook was far too big for a beginner.

Sophie was very patient and explained everything so well. There were no problems going back over things. Would recommend doing this.

Good class, Sophie was a great teacher and very patient with us. Very glad I did it as I now know how to do three crochet stitches, and have plenty of wool to practice.
