This class is excellent. It was so much easier to learn by watching a person rather than a book or video. Chrissie made it really easy to understand and corrected me when I made a mistake. I'd highly recommend these workshops. Thank you.

Chrissie is the most amazing teacher. She is able to explain things so simply, and she was happy to repeat steps if needed, so that even I have come away from the class feeling that I have the basic skills to start making simple items - starting with a scarf to perfect my stitches and tension. Everything that was needed was supplied - two colours of yarn, a crochet hook, written instructions to take away so there was no need to make notes, and a tote bag to store everything in. The class was held in a comfortable room, away from the shop floor, so it was easy to concentrate on the class. The time flew by, but we were able to learn how to tie a slip knot, chain stitch, the double and treble stitch. Luckily there were only two of us in the class, so lots of individual attention. It was inspiring to see some items in the room which Chrissie had made - she is a very talented lady. I couldnt resist buying a few items in the shop after the class - a pretty bag to store the yarn safely, a matching holder for crochet hooks, stitch markers and just a littl bit more yarn may have fallen into my shopping basket. I am already planning on attending the Granny Squares class, and having some one to one sessions when I am starting a project, I have really caught the crochet bug!

Sadly I was unable to attend the class I had booked, as on the morning I woke up with a horrible cough and cold. I did message the tutor to let her know. I will rebook when I have recovered, as I have heard this class is excellent.
