I was a total beginner, did not even know how to hold the hook. It seemed like the other participants had a little bit more experience but the teacher was very patient and let me work at my own pace, not pressuring me. I thought I would never be able to crochet or learn the double stitch but the teacher encouraged me to practice at home. I am proud to say that when I got home I was indeed able to do it after thinking back on her method. I am very glad and I would book another class again in order to improve on my existing knowledge.

I had a great class and as there was no one else booked on it was literally a one-to-one class. My tutor was very patient with me, happy to keep going back to the beginning and going super slow so I could grasp the stitch. It exceeded my expectations as I knew was chain stitch but couldn't control my tension. I made a headband on the same evening using two of the stitches I learnt but also did practice all three stitches I was shown. Brilliant couple of hours.

The class was very enjoyable and informative. Before the class, I had been stuck learning the various crochet stitches from online videos. In the class, I learned how to chain and do a double and treble crochet. The time allowed seemed about right, and I left with two balls of wool to carry on my project. The teacher was very friendly and well informed.

Great class, small enough to be able to receive individual support and the tutor, Liz, was brilliant at explaining everything and making it fun.

Had a fabulous time today trying to master the basic crochet stitches. Kim was so patient and helpful. So much better than trying to follow anything online. Now to practice Highly recommend

Excellent class, went from not knowing anything to happily creating i learnt how to do a slipknot to start, a chain stitch a double stitch and a trebble stitch. I got a lovely bag with two large chunky yarn and a solid metal hook size 8. I also got the written instructions with pictures just in case I had trouble when I got home. The teacher was fabulous, she went through everything at my pace and giving easy instructions to follow. She was friendly and helpful. Will definitely book for the next level class once I've had more practice but everyone can't believe I've only been doing this for less than two weeks. Also going to see what other classes are available. Would highly recommend.
