Peter was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Really enjoyed the class and learnt how to make perfume from oils and how to combine different smells to make a unique perfume of your own.

We did the perfume-making class as a birthday activity with the girls and had such a great time. Peter was absolutely fab, so patient with our 101 questions! The room setting was really cute, and the packaging was a lovely touch too

We had a great time. Would have been nice to be slightly longer as felt a bit rushed at the end.

It was an okay experience. Not bad, but not amazing either. The studio is quite small and when filled with people it can become quite noisy and loud which made it hard to hear the instructor. The workshop could probably benefit with reduced numbers to help the ambience. I would say this is great for a hen’s do, if you want to cackle with your girlies in a loud room, but if you’re looking for an informative taster experience you might find this chaotic and lack structure. When sniffing the scents it can be overwhelming - coffee grounds are supplied although, that wasn’t really talked about by the instructor. All in all, it’s was fine - maybe the masterclass course offered by the same company might have been more informative, offered the experience I was hoping for but base on this workshop, I would find it hard to consider investing in the same business.

The teacher was kind, lively, and attentive, checking in with everyone throughout the workshop. However, given the tight 1.5-hour timeframe, the session could have been better structured. Providing written information about perfume-making, including clear ratios, would have been helpful rather than relying solely on verbal explanations. A bit more background and technical insight into the process would also have added value. Overall, the workshop felt more like “here are the scents – mix and match” rather than a guided learning experience, and unfortunately, it did not feel like good value for money.
