This is a fun activity in Whitechapel, London

A perfume making workshop in London, in our Whitechapel studio. Over an hour and a half you blend two 15ml perfumes of your own, from a library of more than 30 essential oils.

A maker from Yougi guides you through it. You learn how smell works, the fragrance families, and how top, heart and base notes build a scent, then blend until it is yours. No experience is needed and complete beginners are welcome.

Everything is provided, and you pour two 15ml perfumes to take home before the end of the class.

An hour and a half at the table, and two scents that are yours alone. Book the studio privately for team away-days, hen parties and birthdays: everyone blends their own and takes them home.

“Der Kurs ist ganz nett, wenn man zum ersten mal mit ätherischen Ölen arbeitet. Im Grunde gibt es nicht viele Informationen. Man hat eine Palette an ätherischen Ölen vor sich, die man wie man möchte zusammen mischt. Wer Erklärungen oder Informationen zum Herstellen oder Mischen von Parfum sucht ist hier falsch. Der Kurs ist wirklich sehr simple gehalten aber trotzdem ganz nett. Es werden pro Person zwei Parfums hergestellt welche man mitbekommt. Unsere Resultate sind ganz gut gelungen, aber ich habe ein gutes Hintergrundwissen über ätherische Öle. Ein bisschen mehr Zeit wäre ganz gut gewesen.”

“I used my voucher for the class and took my friend for her birthday. We loved it. The teacher was informative, engaging and funny. The other participants were lovely and we learned a lot about perfume making, from the many different oils, how they interact, top, mid and base notes, and came away with two lovely roll on bottles of our own made perfume. Would highly recommend for yourself and friends to do.”

“The class was lovely and I had a great time. It was very relaxing and calm, maybe because it was a very small class. Our instructor was so nice. Didn’t get his name but we turned up a bit late(trains and getting lost) he let us in and help us get settled with tea. He was very helpful, and had an amazing nose. He knew exactly what our fragrances needed to be just right. I enjoyed it and made scents I love and will definitely wear.”
