Explore your artistic ideas in a whole new way by discovering the wonderful craft of lino printing.

Lino printing offers a fantastic way to transform any illustration into a design you can print again and again, perfect for decorating a huge range of projects. Lino printing blocks can be used to apply a design or a repeat pattern to different surfaces and fabrics.

The tutorial is designed for crafters of all abilities but it’ll be ideal for anyone who is new to lino cutting and printing. Hone your skills and enjoy wonderful inspiration, with the support of a craft expert on hand to help you along the way.

The Hobbycraft Artisan will show you how to work with your chosen template, how to cut into the lino tile with your tool and how to get printing with colourful inks. Enjoy mastering the techniques and sparking your creativity as you expand your artistic skillset.

At the end, you’ll have prints made with your newly cut lino design, ready to show off to friends and family. You’ll be able to repeat the print with your lino tile as many times as you like to personalise gifts, greetings cards and more.

You’ll be sent a follow-up video which will be live for 12 months afterwards to guide you in your own time.

Each to redeem gift card, fairly good availability of classes and prompt delivery of kit. Good value. Teacher was good, some difficulty with the screen, seemed blurry at times. Paint was meant to be water soluble but I am difficulty cleaning the lino roller clean. Roller wasn't the easiest to use. Overall fun few hours, easy to get hang of and would do one of these courses again .

Great class. Very friendly, positive and supportive teacher. Good timings. All good. Be aware, the delivery of kit is Royal Mail and I almost didn't get mine as they gave me no tracking information and they required a signature. Only received, by chance, when I was home for half an hour and luckily they delivered when I was home. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do the course.

I really enjoyed this class! Gina was a lovely teacher, incredibly helpful and not judgy when it felt like I was asking silly questions. We got given the whole kit and 2 options to Lino cut, focusing on the most basic one first to help as a beginner and it was a really nice experience!

Gisela, the tutor, was positive, calm, friendly and explained everything really well. I felt relaxed and enjoyed learning a new skill. The kit contained everything I needed to get started and the class was about the right length.

Gisela was a very good tutor and definitely knew all about Lino printing, the class went at an ok pace and were given lots of tips My only criticism is the tool that we used it would have been helpful to have received instructions in the box so I had a clue on using I wasted quite a bit of time trying to put the blade into the correct position. My initial print isn’t great but as a beginner I’m pleased I managed to do it and with practice and patience I’m sure I will produce a good print.

Gisela was so encouraging, and provided lots of ideas for future development. It was so enjoyable-and being able to produce a printed card by the end of the session was great. Looking forward to developing this craft further!
