Discover a new delicious recipe at this fun Chinese cooking class in London! Whether you're a beginner cook looking to learn new techniques or you're simply looking to broaden your recipe repertoire, come and discover this popular Dim Sum from Shanghai, China.

What makes this dish unique? It is very small and contains lots of scrumptious soup. Throughout this class you will learn every step to making this Chinese treat from preparing the dough and soup to expertly wrapping and cooking them. You will find yourself in a small class and spacious shop with air conditioner. Often gets private class if booking in weekdays.

If you already attended Simon's Buns Three Ways class, you will already have the basic skills to wrap these mini buns with ease. Want to be bun pro? You can book these two classes together and learn the skills thoroughly by choosing an add-on class. You can even add on some bubble cocktail or classic tea tasting to quench your thirst!

By the end of this London cooking class, you will have learned a new delicious recipe to satisfy your taste buds, plus some newfound culinary skills too!

Allergy Information
- Gluten.
- Soy.
- Pork is the authentic filling for this special DimSum. However it is not nice to use other meat or vegan fillings. For vegan buns, please join Vegan Buns 3 Ways Class or Running Custard Buns Class.

Add-on Classes
- All Add-ons are in the same class. It is to save your time and make the class more fun. Please allow extra time, 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can always contact us before booking to find out more details.
- You can find some of the Add-ons in pictures showing above. Welcome to drop us a message to find out the details.
- Strongly suggest you add Big Steamed Buns if you didn't make buns before. It will give you the chance to learn the skills step by step. Please allow extra 30 minutes for it.

- Why not add some unique drinks for your class as well? Please do not bring your own drinks and food to the class.
- Festival Special Drinks featuring warm drinks, Butterbeer, Christmas Special Mulled Wine and Hot Chocolate with Rum.

Come along and enjoy a cool, welcoming space with the chance of a private class on quiet weekdays. You'll leave with a brand new Asian cooking skillset and plenty of delicious treats to take home with you!

Important Notes
- Price shows here is for one person. Every one requires a valid ticket in order to stay in the class, regardless whether participants in the class or just taking photos.
- The estimated class duration time is only a reference based on 12 persons in the class. It covers the entire experience, from the minute you arriving until you eating all the food. Don't worry if you need more time. And be proud if you take less time.
- Please do not bring any outside food or beverages.
- This is an adult-only class (18+). For safety reasons, the class is not suitable for pregnant women.
- We have a strict 15-minute lateness policy. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, your booking will be cancelled without a refund or reschedule.

Refund and Reschedule
- If you need to reschedule, a £50 fee per person applies. The request must be made and the fee paid at least one week prior to your class date.
- If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member (18+). If you want to do this, simply notify us of the new attendee's name.
- The best way you can help the micro business is that, If you cannot attend booked classes, please give it to your friends and family. They will thank you for that as our classes are excellent. They will return the favour to you. It is win-win-win for all.

I have always wanted to learn how to make xiao long bao, and here I am, thanks to Hanna’s help. The cooking session was very personalised and fun. Hanna knows a lot about the history of xiao long bao, as well as many tips for making the best ones. We used fresh ingredients, which made the quality much better and were very easy to find. I am excited to put into practice what I learned. My next class will be the three-ways bun class, and I am really looking forward to learning how to make them—and, of course, having Hanna as my teacher again.

We had an a wonderful afternoon at Simon and Hanna’s Foodie Kitchen, learning the inns and outs of making Xiao Long Bao from scratch. Simon and Hanna were both such thorough and friendly hosts who had a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. They have a wonderful kitchen classroom to do classes and they made us feel so welcome. I couldn’t recommend them enough! We will definitely be back for another class in the future.

Such a fun class! We did a private class and our teachers were so friendly and attentive to our dumpling-making. We got to eat 24 delicious dumplings as part of the class. Would defo recommend!

Had an excellent afternoon with Simon and Hannah - made the complicated very easy and very tasty. Thinking about the Biang Biang noodle course as well. Simon's own roasted green jasmine tea is very good - going to try a make that as well

SO FUN! My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day, and it was one of the best experiences we've done living in London! I've done quite a lot of the activities on ClassBento and this was definitely my favourite one! The teachers were so fun, sweet and helpful, giving us really specific and clear instructions and helping us out during the activity. The class was such a wholesome and lovely vibe. We made xiao long bao from scratch, from making the dough, mincing the pork belly, wrapping the dumplings, and it was so fulfilling and satisfying to eat our handmade dumplings at the end! The flavour was also incredible - best xiao long bao I have ever eaten!

I booked this class for my friend and I. We loved it! It was our first time making dumplings and we learned so much about the process from start to finish. We’ve taken home a recipe for life! And the teachers were very sociable and helpful (and funny too). We will be back

Thanks Simon and Hanna - we had such a lovely time at the class. Really informative, the instructions given to us were clear and easy to follow, plus we recevued the full recipe on email after to recreate at home. Would deifnitely recommend!
