This is a fun activity in Kingston upon Thames, London
Learn some DIY skills and enjoy a beginner-friendly woodworking project with this hands-on Surrey activity. Over three hours, you will craft a garden planter by hand to add a personal touch to your vegetable patch.
Guided by a friendly and experienced teacher, you will learn about different woodworking tools and how to use them. We have a full workshop with everything you need, but you are welcome to bring any tools you already have if you want to get used to them.
During this wood workshop you will learn:
- Ways of connecting/joining planks together.
- About marking out.
- How to use hand and power tools safely.
Class sizes are kept to six so you'll get plenty of personal feedback from your teacher plus time to ask any questions. Meet some like-minded DIY fans or get your pals together for a fun group activity.
By the end of the class, you will come away with your very own garden planter to be proud of plus some new skills to keep practising at home.
