“My boyfriend bought me a gift card to do a sip and paint together for Christmas this year and I scheduled it in March for this past weekend in May, having it on the calendar and looking forward to it since. On the morning of our class, he woke up with food poisoning and was completely unable to do anything for the next 48 hours. I contacted the class several times and sent an email to explain the situation and ask if there was any flexibility. I only just got a response 3 days later saying nothing could be done. We’ve lost £100, I now did not get a Christmas present, and I cannot afford to book another class to replace it, they didn’t even offer a partial cover for another class. I am so so disappointed, my boyfriend feels awful, and I don’t think I’ll be booking again because of this experience. It’s a bummer because there are so many interesting classes. I understand the need to protect small businesses, but I do not feel valued as a customer. Congrats on received my £100 for Christmas I guess :(”
“I received an e-gift card from my wife as a birthday present. Redeeming it was incredibly simple. I just clicked the link in the email, and it took me directly to their website with the gift card balance applied. I was able to browse their online store and purchase a new novel within minutes. No hassle, no problems. I appreciate the ease and efficiency. The teacher is 5 stars!”
