This is a fun activity in Fletching, Tonbridge

Join Kate in her idyllic garden workshop overlooking fields. If you're looking for a fun new hobby to share with a friend or partner or are keen to learn how to make pottery in a relaxed, supportive environment, this ceramics class is a brilliant place to start.

Through a combination of detailed demonstrations and practical, hands-on experience, you'll enjoy a guided overview of a variety of different pottery techniques. You'll try your hand at the potter's wheel; you can also try some tactile hand-building techniques to make your own ceramic soap dish.

Thanks to the small class size, you'll have the full support of your talented teacher throughout, making this a fantastic opportunity to learn these time-honoured techniques from someone who really knows their stuff.

By the end of the class, you'll have made a small selection of ceramics, ready to be glazed and fired to be collected later. You'll leave this intimate pottery workshop feeling relaxed and full of crafty new skills.

Please note: you will need to return to pick up your pottery at a later date. Or you can pay a small fee, and I’ll post your pottery to you.

The class was amazing, we had such a wonderful time. Kate was a fantastic teacher and we got the hang of the potters wheel within the lesson. Would recommend to anyone.

It was an incredible experience. Kate was so kind caring and patient with us. We hand made pottery and also made bowls on the pottery wheel, we learned lots of different techniques to give us our own unique bowl and experience. I love it and highly recommend to anyone who wants to try their hand at pottery. Doesn't have to be couples l, it could be friends or family and you'll still have an amazing time

My husband and I did a pottery workshop with Kate. We had a really lovely time and between us made 6 bowls and 2 dishes. Kate is a great teacher and explained everything clearly and gave a demonstration. It was a relaxed and friendly session and we would definitely book again and recommend it to our friends.
