In this fully vegan-friendly Asian bun-making class, you’ll learn how to create three classic Chinese buns completely from scratch:
- Bao Buns
- Vegan Bao (traditional steamed buns)
- Spring Onion Twists (beautifully layered and aromatic)
- From flour to finished bun, you’ll get hands-on with dough, shaping, steaming, and tasting — guided step by step by experienced chef tutors.

Important Booking Information
- Price is per person. Each attendee must hold a valid ticket.
- This is an adult-only class (18+).
- Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
- Class duration is an estimate and may vary depending on group size.
No Refund Policy
All bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another adult (18+). Please notify us in advance with the new attendee’s name.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your booking, a £50 fee per person applies. Reschedule requests must be made at least 7 days before your scheduled class date.
Arrival & Punctuality
Classes begin promptly. A 15-minute grace period is provided. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, we may not be able to admit you and your booking will be forfeited.
Health & Safety Policy
- For the safety of all guests and in line with UK food hygiene guidance, anyone experiencing vomiting, diarrhoea, or similar symptoms must be symptom-free for at least 48 hours before attending the class
- Guests may be asked to confirm this upon arrival
- We reserve the right to refuse entry if this requirement is not met

Excellent class with super friendly and helpful teachers! We booked the Vegan Buns Three Ways plus optional add-ons smashed cucumber and tofu salad. We learned dough skills and also knife skills and tips and tricks for all the ingredients and approaches were shared, including using hot oil to bring out flavour even in cold dishes. Hanna and Simon also taught us about the history and culture of the dishes and were super patient in showing us (and reshowing us!) the different techniques. We had great fun, laughed a lot, and learned a lot. And we had lots of delicious food to eat and take home after! We would 100% recommend.

Both Simon and Hannah were lovely and very patient. Additionally to kneading, forming and eating the different Buns you also got additional information about the whole history behind it. The class was entertaining and instructive from the beginning to the end. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to get started with the basics of Buns.

My partner and I had a great time today in our cooking class. We were in a small group of 4 with 2 teachers and made three types of buns, in total it took 90 minutes. The teachers were very attentive giving great demonstrations and then helping to ensure our bao buns came out well - they also shared interesting history and context about the food we were making and shared valuable insights. They then served us the food we made with kimchi and chilli sauce, it was delicious! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys cooking or bao buns.
