Helpful demo and advice. Lots of fragrances to choose from and advice at every stage. Loved the class. Sadly I was the only person in what should have been a group class but other people did not turn up! I got lots of help but it felt a bit lonely

Really enjoyed this class, lots of scents availble for mixing and spent most of the session decorating the inside of the glass in which the candle sits.

We had a lovely time and came away with some fabulous candles. The only thing that would have made it more enjoyable would have been some teas and coffees or some squash as we got thirsty throughout!

This was my first candle making course and I found it very interesting. It’s more difficult than I thought. Venue was good and course teacher was approachable and knowledgeable. Just a little suggestion: maybe advise to bring either old clothes or an apron (which probably most people have) or ideally offer some paper aprons. It can get really messy with wax ending up on clothes.

Wife and I attended this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Knowledgeable and helpful instructor and pleasant surroundings. Unfortunately, on the downside, they were running a separate class in another room without a door next to ours. The instructor did not control the attendees and there was frequently a lot of noise from them. She also kept walking into our session to talk to our instructor, which I don't have a problem with, but space was limited and I had to keep pulling my chair e all finished the assignment without rushing, this is sold as a 2 hour session when in fact it finished with around 45 minutes left. I'd have no problem paying the same price but advertise it as 90 minutes, not 120. Having said all that, it was an unhurried and enjoyable session. The only real issue was the noise from the neighbouring session.

The facilitators were friendly, engaging, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. There was a lot of variety and choice in scent and decoration. Being able to make the candles completely individually – from the decorating to the scent – made every single candle different which was great. We all learnt stuff that we didn’t know before about candles and candle care, and the whole thing overall felt relaxed. There were times things felt a bit rushed, and some felt that it would have been nice to have seen what a finished item might look like. We would wholeheartedly recommend Fire Nest and are keeping hold of their details for some of the other workshops that they run.
