Whether you're a fan of sushi and want to learn how to recreate it yourself in your own home or you're looking for a fun date night activity or birthday surprise for someone special, come along to this sushi making class in Macclesfield and learn the secrets of this iconic Japanese dish from an experienced chef.

Under your host's expert guidance, you'll learn the secrets to making perfect maki, nigiri and hand rolls that'll be the talk of your next get-together or dinner party. Using fresh ingredients and plenty of culinary know-how, you'll learn how to properly prepare and season your rice, how to select your fillings and the all-important construction techniques.

Don't worry if you're a kitchen first-timer, as your friendly host will be on hand throughout the class to dispense tips, advice and encouragement to make sure you're rolling with the best of them.

Finally, you'll enjoy the fruits of your labours in the company of your fellow budding chefs, along with a glass of wine. You'll leave the class full of new culinary skills, along with any leftover sushi to treat your friends and family — or to level up next day's lunch!

“We really enjoyed the workshop! Jinny is a great teacher, she was very patient with my many questions. The workshop was also accomodating of our preference for vegetarian sushi; we were given lots of variety for fillings and were also set up a bit seperately from the participants making sushi with fish, which we appreciated. Jinny was thorough and clear with each step, and the whole group was warm and friendly :) We enjoyed the food anecdotes as well and would take another class with Jinny.”

“Excellent class! The teacher was very friendly, supportive, and shared lots of helpful tips you can use at home. You also get to take home any sushi you can’t finish! I thought I’d manage to eat it all because I love sushi, but the portion size was so generous that I brought some home and enjoyed it later. Thanks to Jinny’s bright personality, the class atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I was a little nervous before attending, but I ended up having a wonderful time. I’d love to come back and try her other classes too! :)”

“Jinny is a friendly and welcoming teacher. She has lots of experience of cooking different cuisines and good stories to tell! The sushi class was a great stepping stone for us to be able to master sushi making at home. We all found it really useful. The sushi was delicious and there was loads to take home. The meal at the end is a nice touch. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“A sushi-tactic experience! Jinny was amazing and she was so supportive! She helped us when we needed it but also talked a lot about what she was doing so we had a better understanding of why we were using certain methods!! 100000% would recommend this class to anyone! Thank you again Jinny!!”
