My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pottery taster session with Mihaly. It was a brilliant way to spend the afternoon of my birthday and we were treated to a very nice glass of Hungarian wine to help celebrate. Mihaly was patient, fun and very helpful to complete novices! We made 4 items using different techniques during the 2 hour session. We would recommend this experience to anyone wanting something a little different to do

The best pottery class I’ve been to. Mihaly was a wonderful instructor, and was so patient with us, actually teaching us how to create the pottery ourselves. Also, it was so lovely to decorate the our pieces ourselves in the same day. Finally, this was a gift on my partner’s birthday and Mihaly gave him a delicious cake after the class, which was lovely!

We booked a pottery taster class and attended as a couple. After a brief demonstration, we were put straight onto our own wheels and allowed to get stuck in - with the teacher guiding us and making small corrections along the way. We ended up with 4 great pieces each and had a chance to decorate them all and hopefully pick them up in a few weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience which is great value for money!

I loved this session and it was my first time using a wheel. Mihaly was a great, warm instructor and he often came to help hands-on. It was a good meditative practice but also learnt a lot. Would love to come back. And Mihaly even gave me a birthday cake! Too kind.
