Join us for a two-hour, beginner-friendly workshop where you'll learn the basics of alcohol ink art. At the Yoga and Wellness rooms in Shoreham-by-Sea, I will guide you through the process of creating stunning pieces of abstract art using alcohol ink.
Alcohol ink is a vibrant, fast drying, dye-based ink. It works on variety of surfaces but works particularly well on synthetic papers. Alcohol ink is ideal for creating abstract images, as the drying of the ink can be controlled with heat and the delicate blowing of air across the surface.
Working with alcohol ink is a therapeutic and relaxing experience that allows you to express your creativity. The process is freeform and unpredictable, which means that patterns and imperfections will emerge as you work. However, these imperfections often lead to the creation of stunning and unique art pieces, making the process even more rewarding.
This workshop is limited to 4 people so you will have plenty of one to one time with me during the sessions.
All necessary tools and materials will be provided for the duration of the session. With the skills and knowledge you'll gain, you'll be able to continue creating your own pieces at home.
Please note: I can accommodate up to 4 people at my workshop. There are two cats at my workshop. They are shy but may pop in during the sessions. Please let me know if you want me to keep them out of the rooms. Alternatively, I can travel to your house/venue.
