I had great fun at the sip and sculpt class. Our teacher was really friendly and helpful. Everyone in the class had a good giggle. We were given plenty of clay, my only criticism would be the lack of tools, we all got the same 3 tools, perhaps could have done with rolling pins, other moulding tools etc. we all did a pinch pot and then were left to our own devices but if you’re not of a creative mind, I think you would struggle. Someone on the table next to us just had loads of pinch pots as they didn’t know what else to make. Overall it was great fun and I enjoyed it.

A really fun evening. we were given some direction from the teacher and then left to be as creative as we wanted/were able. The teacher came round and offered support and advice to anyone. It was a small group but just about right so a chance to speak with other participants. Only downside is that the area within the bar is very dimly lit making it quite hard to see what we were doing. I did come home and smooth out a crease lumps and bumps that I hadnt been able to see at the time.

Really good experience - something different and everyone enjoyed! Our teacher Kazia was really nice. The venue was nice as well. Don’t think it should be called sip and sculpt if there isn’t a drink provided in the price. To buy the drink, we had to wait in the long queues in the bar which took time from the session, we weren’t able to order from the room we were in so this could be an improvement for the future. Would be helpful if there were some inspo pictures to use as guidance as we were unsure of what to make.

The class overall was good but there was limited interaction between groups and not much explanation as to what the tools were for. The teacher and her assistant were nice enough but I think for the price it should be a little bit more interactive and engaging.

There was barely any instruction during this class so I don’t feel I actually learnt anything. The lighting in pub was very dim and not good for a creative activity. I had good fun with my friend and the instructors were friendly, but they didn’t seem to know much about pottery.

I wanted to share my disappointment with the Sculpt & Sip experience I attended today. Given the £32 price, I expected a structured session with guidance on creating vases and ornaments, including tips and techniques. Instead, we were simply given a lump of clay (which I later found costs around £20 on Amazon) with no clear instruction, leaving me unsure of what to do for the two-hour session. Additionally, we were provided with inadequate bags to transport our pieces home. As a result, two of my items were damaged on the way back, as no proper boxes or packaging were given. Considering the lack of structure, guidance, and appropriate materials, I feel the experience did not match its advertised value. I would appreciate a refund and look forward to your response.
