If you're keen to learn hand embroidery, this workshop is for you.

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of embroidery and start your own embroidery piece. Held in Paraffle’s studio in St Margaret’s House, Edinburgh, this workshop is ideal for anyone who is new to embroidery and looking to explore their creativity.

All materials will be provided, and you will have access to a range of patterns and designs to choose from. During the workshop, you will be guided through the fundamentals of embroidery, including different types of stitches.

No prior experience is necessary for this workshop, and all levels are welcome. Sammy will be on hand to offer guidance and support throughout the session.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll know the basics of hand embroidery, and have the skills to start creating your own pieces at home.

“This class was absolutely wonderful!! The teacher gave clear instructions that made it easy for beginners. Lots of awesome patterns to pick from as well and a starter kit to take home. I had a wonderful time with the other ladies that were there. Plus there’s biscuits and tea! If you’re thinking of taking this class just take the plunge and do it. You definitely will not regret it!”

No prior knowledge or experience of embroidery was required and as well as demonstrations in the class there are written instructions to take away for future reference.
