This is a fun activity in Canary Wharf, London

Join us for an uplifting Kintsugi class in London where you'll learn the art of "golden joinery" by fixing and upcycling pottery using gold. Don't worry if you're a beginner; our expert guide will provide personalised support every step of the way, plus delve into the history of Kintsugi.

Whether you bring your own broken pottery or choose from our selection, all materials and tools will be provided for you to repair 1-2 pieces of ceramics, learning how to embrace and enhance their imperfections. After this 1.5-hour workshop, you'll have the option to stay an extra hour free of charge to perfect your creations or work on another piece, enabling you to take home your radiant pieces of golden pottery.

The whole point of this particular workshop is to give you the skills and knowledge to continue Kintsugi at home so you'll also receive valuable insights on different types of pottery, different Kintsugi techniques, and recommendations on the best products and where to purchase them.

Don't miss this unique and rewarding activity that combines relaxation, creativity, and practicality. Let the art of Kintsugi inspire you!

Thoroughly enjoyed the class and mended some mugs, jugs and lids of some of my most precious ceramics. Really happy with the result. Attended the course as a birthday gift with my eldest daughter. We both had a great time. Teacher was lovely and she made it really easy to do a good job on the pieces that now look lovely again. You don't need to bring your own things. There were 6 in the class and I was the only one that had pieces to repair. I'd do it again, expecially when there's a food safe glue available in this country and I can repair the rest of my things.

Amanda is a fantastic teacher , full of enthusiasm and easy to talk to . Her lovely studio is in an artist community on Trinity Buoy Wharf which is also a great place to visit . We chose a piece of pottery and were then doing Kintsugi almost immediately and we all had such fun creating a beautiful piece from broken pottery . Highly recommend this class .

Amanda was very friendly and ran a great class. There was the right level of talking to us and then allowing us to get on with things. She was supportive with ideas and suggestions where needed. The whole experience was very relaxing and I would highly recommend Amanda’s class.

The best part of my day getting some mindfulness in a creative and meaningful way, even more special as it was international women’s day. Amanda was kind and helpful, keeping a good balance of teaching / demonstrating/ letting us be hands on independently. The music playlist was just right too. Highly recommend.
