Amanda was a great teacher! Would happily recommend her :). If you are bringing your own piece definitely do a practice first!

A very pleasant class in the secret corner of the Trinity Buoy Wharf. The teacher is very clear in her instructions and very nice to work with. Her workshop is also very welcoming. For me, it was great introduction into Kintsugi and opened my eyes to this patient japanese art.

Really great class, Amanda knew when to lean in and when to be more hands off. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon, forcing you to slow down and really focus on your craft. Mine was by no means perfect, but definitely inspired me to want to try it again, and she gave us all the information needed to go Kintsugi on our own which was really handy.

I hugely enjoyed fixing my favourite (but broken) bowl by learning about Kintsugi. Amanda was a brilliant, patient teacher - very generous with her time and materials. I was very pleased with the end result. Perfectly imperfect - a very enjoyable afternoon.

The overall experience was enjoyable, and all the necessary tools were provided. However, clearer guidance on how much glue to apply would have been helpful, as it was difficult to achieve a neat, even line. The allotted time was just enough for two pieces, but it felt a bit rushed—we had to work quickly rather than carefully. The selection of ceramics was also somewhat limited, with several duplicates of the same bowl. I’d definitely like to try kintsugi again, but perhaps with a different instructor. For me, this practice should feel calm and meditative rather than hurried.

I bought this as a 60th Birthday gift for hubby as an interesting way to relax after 2 hectic days in London. We both absolutely loved it! Rose was a very patient teacher and we came away with a piece each which has inspired us to do more. Great location, friendly and helpful advice and lots of fun. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed the class and mended some mugs, jugs and lids of some of my most precious ceramics. Really happy with the result. Attended the course as a birthday gift with my eldest daughter. We both had a great time. Teacher was lovely and she made it really easy to do a good job on the pieces that now look lovely again. You don't need to bring your own things. There were 6 in the class and I was the only one that had pieces to repair. I'd do it again, expecially when there's a food safe glue available in this country and I can repair the rest of my things.
