Do you struggle to cover a cake with smooth, sharp edges? If so, this is the class for you. A One Day course (9.30am to 3.30pm), covering all the basic techniques of covering and decorating a six-inch cake.
You will learn how to split the cake, fill it with conserve and buttercream, crumb coat, and coat it with buttercream. You will then cover the cake with sugar paste and decorate both the cake and the board.
To ensure personal tuition the maximum number of participants on this course is three. The course is for adults only.
Classes taking place in November and December will take a festive theme by creating and decorating the six-inch cake as a Christmas Snowman.
Please note, the cakes are not suitable for people with food allergies. Whilst every care is taken during preparation and cooking, they are made in a kitchen that handles all allergens. We, therefore, offer no assurance that the cakes will be free from traces.
