This is a fun activity in Wolverhampton

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about crochet. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for crocheters looking for that next step on from our Beginners' Workshops, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a crochet pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Keeping everyone safe
At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

Gemma was brilliant, listened to what I wanted. She gave me a quick refresher on the basic stitches and then helped me with a blanket project I brought with me. Highly recommend her

Teacher was amazing, very patient, very pleasant and an amazing teacher , i was showed how to do treble and double stitch , also helped me start and read a pattern for a granny square . I personally don't think an hour is long enough , not enough time to go through what my teacher was learning me

Sarah was lovely and was so helpful, she adapted the wool and hook to thinner wool which made it easier for me to crochet (I’m awkward as normally thick is easier). She was very patient with me and made sure that I was comfortable with what I’d learnt. She then helped me to find patterns and wool for future projects (hopefully) Thank you Sarah
