If you're keen to broaden your culinary horizons, come along to this hands-on cooking class, where you'll learn how to create delicious homemade-style Chinese dumplings completely from scratch!

Not the same as dumplings from Chinatown or other Dim Sum takeaways, these are the real ones that Chinese families enjoy at home, especially in Northern China, the birthplace of the dumplings, where they're part of the staple diet.

During this dumpling class, you'll learn how to make dumplings from expert Chinese cooking teacher Pan. You'll be shown how to make your dishes using authentic methods. With class sizes kept small and intimate, you will get full attention from Pan, who'll be around to make sure all your questions are answered.

This class begins with a short introduction to the world of dumplings and Asian cuisine — you will learn all about the history of dumpling making and how dumplings fit into modern trends of cooking.

During this dumplings class, you will learn how to do:
-three types of fillings: 1. pork minces with Chinese chives optional prawns
2.sweet corn with minces
3. Courgettes with eggs optional add prawn.
- Make dumpling pastry from dough.
- Three ways to fold dumplings.
- Cook your dumplings in Chinese ways.

This class is designed for beginners, and will focus on wrapping, the most important stage. You'll also learn how to knead dough and chop your ingredients by hand for the best results.

At the end of this dumpling cooking class in London, you can sit down and enjoy what you've made, or take it all home for later. Recipe will send via email after lesson.

Allergy Information
Gluten is not avoidable.
Soy and Sesame seeds can be avoided.
Egg is used in this class for Veg option fillings.
Pork is the authentic filling in Chinese dumplings. If you don't eat pork, don't worry. Our vegetable filling is the second best to the pork filling. It is suitable for vegans.

Vegan option please notify me in advance. If you don't eat prawns pls notify me too.

We were a group of three ladies. We had such a great time. Pan was lovely, chatty and informative. The whole experience was relaxed and fun. We learnt so much. Would definitely recommend.

Xia has been a great teacher: patient, joyful and full of knowledge! She taught us three different recipes and gave us lot of useful advice for preparing dumplings by ourselves. We really enjoyed her Chinese tea and the choice of super fresh ingredients, in addition to her knowledge of Chinese cultures and anedoctes.

Highly recommend this class if you love dumplings or delicious food in general! We learned how to make dumplings with three different fillings. Pan was a really engaging teacher. She explained all the steps in detail and answered our questions. She was also happy to accommodate dietary restrictions (mentioned ahead of the class). It was a three hour session and four people in the class, so we all did a lot of cooking - we definitely worked for our meal! We had so much fun and came away extremely full.
