In this workshop, you will learn all about epoxy resin and how to use it with timber. Get creative and pour your very own unique live edge river pour.

Designed for first time epoxy users, your teachers will share their expertise and hard-earned secrets with you as you create a beautiful river-inspired piece of art using epoxy resin and timber.

If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture or even epoxy resin coatings, then this is the class for you! And don't fret if you've never tried anything like this before, as you'll have the full support of your teachers throughout.

Please note: Epoxy resin takes about 7 days to fully dry and so you will not be able to leave with your piece on the day. You can collect your piece from the teacher once it's ready.

“I finally attended the Beginner’s Epoxy Resin Course with The Rivershop @the_rivershop — something I’ve wanted to do for ages — and it exceeded all my expectations! Our fantastic course leader guided us through the creative process with such passion and clarity. I learned so much about how this beautiful medium works, its possibilities, and how to express myself through it. “Absolutely perfect class for beginners. Really tidy, organised set up, with plenty of inspiration around. We started on time and we all signed in and introduced ourselves. Richard was fantastic - very funny, flexible managing everyone’s expectations and so patient, answering everyone’s questions. He had a lot of knowledge about working with both resin and wood. It was actually a super chill class with a lot of chatting. He also got us to actually think about what we were doing by asking us questions back. I appreciated this as I felt like I was actually learning (since I didn’t know any of the answers) and not just being told what to do. I’d 100% recommend this particular class, especially if you’re interested in doing something really creative or wanting to learn how to work with resin and wood. I can’t wait to see my finished product!”
