This is a fun activity in Stevenage

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about crochet. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for crocheters looking for that next step on from our Beginners' Workshops, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a crochet pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Keeping everyone safe
At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

Fantastic class Karla was great, very informative and helpful only downside was the location of the class. Customers kept interrupting us, Karla did give customers info etc but it was annoying being interrupted c

This was a gift for my daughter who had the most amazing time. They went through loads in just an hour and she is so excited to try out what she has learnt. I've already been asked to book again for when she next want to make a jump up in skill level. The teacher was knowledgeable, helpful and nice which is brilliant. Highly recommended...

My teacher was Lauren , and she was very good, knowledgeable and patient. I set 3 goals and I just about achieved all 3. The time went very quickly but I learnt how to read a pattern and decrease and increase. We made a granny square with a flower. I need lots of practice now , it was really nice to be shown some stitches, easier than watching it on line. Thankyou Julie May

I love how chill and Lauren is, she goes the extra mile to help with any questions. Even when not in class if she’s on the shop floor and you have any yarn or hook questions she’s always happy to help
