“Overall, the class was quite enjoyable as the ingredients were all prepared for us on the table. I liked how you could choose the macaron flavours and colourings to be more creative. However, the packaging provided in the end wasn’t great. The plastic bags were too small and there weren’t enough boxes for the macarons - also being too small to fit. Unfortunately, when I got back home, most of my macarons were squished in the boxes and plastic bags (shown below). Furthermore, the teacher could have explained the steps more clearly in detail since it was my first time making macarons.”
“I attended this class recently, The teacher was indeed very friendly.
However for me, the class was super simple and basic as I have done workshops previously at BreadAhead which was far more advanced and for me much more worth it, having paid £60 for this class and £95 for Breadahead. The same 3 hour time period but it was for the full 3hours.
This class did not go for the full 3 hours that was advertised 2-5pm. It actually finished at 3:30pm so felt a bit shortchanged.
Moving forward, I would say this class needs to be advertised as for beginners only with no baking experience. It is not suitable for anyone that has baking exoerience or knowledge.”
