Dave is such a lovely tutor. We enjoyed the workshop very much. He shared detailed demonstrations in the workshop and coached us step by step to lead the success. I successfully created my first clay mug using the pottery wheel!

I had the best time! Dave is a great teacher, he really takes the time to explain and show you how to do it, before giving you the opportunity to do it yourself. I made 3 different shaped mugs, learning different techniques and then picked my favourite and made a handle for it. The handle part was a little more technical, but again Dave showed me and let me do a test one before doing the actual one. Can't wait to go and pick up my mug once it's fully dry and ready

I had a great evening with 1:1 tuition from Dave. He showed me what to do then I had a go, with Dave only stepping in to give instruction advice and help when needed. It was the right balance of autonomy and intervention. I made 3 slightly different pots, one with a handle - which Dave will glaze and fire for me. A very enjoyable time.
