There was plenty of time to have a go at making a few mugs before picking the best one to finish with a handle to then be fired and glazed. Firstly Dave is a fantastic teacher, professional, friendly, very supportive and a great communicator. Everything you need during the class is taken care of, and the workshop is perfectly tucked away so that you can focus on learning and working with the clay without distractions.
The whole experience is very wholesome and a really rewarding way to spend some time totally relaxed under excellent tutelage whilst creating something for yourself.
