This is a fun activity in Stoke Newington, London

Discover the beautiful Japanese art of Kintsugi in this hands-on workshop. Learn how to repair a ceramic pot using traditional-inspired techniques, while embracing cracks and imperfections as part of its story.

Using a handmade ceramic pot created by one of our studio potters, you’ll be guided by our experienced ceramicists to create your own unique Kintsugi piece to take home.

No previous experience is required — just come along, get creative and enjoy this relaxing craft experience.

Please note:
- Repaired pieces are not food-safe and are for decorative purposes only.
- A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to go ahead. If fewer than 4 are booked, we may cancel or reschedule.
- No cancellations or rescheduling are permitted. This does not apply if we cancel the class.

“The class was very enjoyable and time passed very quickly. The teacher was friendly and helpful. Patience is required for this class as you wait for the resin to stick. It would have been helpful to have had a try before we put an actual broken pot together to grasp the process.”

“The workshop was easy to follow. Instructions were clear and the teacher was helpful. The ceramics studio is nice and had all required materials. The teacher also shared where the material could be found if we wanted to do this at home. It was nice for a special occasion. I think it's a bit pricey, which is the only drawback.”
