This is a fun activity in Bankside, London

At only 2min walk from central LONDON BRIDGE station.

Enjoy the relaxing practice of wheel throwing, with the potential of having your own unique and personalised pot fired in the kiln and glazed professionally.

Perfect for beginners looking to dive into the therapeutic world of wheel throwing. Come and create your own vessels and pots, starting potentially with a mug in this London pottery class.

Whether you're in the class to practise, discover or leave with a finished piece, our expert guidance at Maison S.Sommet will help you make a step toward mastering clay centring and crafting quality pots.

We provide prepared clay, tools, and aprons - just dress to get messy and remember to trim those nails. Step into our inviting and intimate studio, where classes are limited to 12 attendees for a small group experience.

Select from two beautiful stoneware glazes BLUE or CLEAR. Your chosen pieces can be professionally glazed and fired for an additional fee of £5 only per item.(The firing will cost £10 per pot from 1st May 2026) Making them food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe.

What a fantastic afternoon! This was a birthday present for me from my son and was so so much better than a box of chocolates or a bunch of flowers! I was absolutely useless but enjoyed every moment - we had so much fun - we laughed and laughed as I tried to stop my ‘pot’ from flying off the wheel and hitting the man next to me Our teacher was excellent as was Stephanie, the owner of the business - they were incredibly patient and helpful. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough - definitely 5 stars

Super fun class for a private group activity! Fantastic teaching and explanation as majority of us were beginners. Perfect for first-timers and would highly recommend. The 2 hours flew by quickly from all the fun we had! Great communication before our class date as well which is always helpful.

Lots of fun. My 9 year old and siblings really enjoyed it. Next time I'll be serious about making something to keep as I was just having fun. Almost everyone else had their items glazed to keep (for a price)
