Ethiopia is the very birthplace of coffee, and the daily ceremony involves roasting the raw green beans, sharing the aroma, brewing in special clay jugs, and sharing with friends and family.

Whilst enjoying the aroma, our artisan hand roasters will prepare and roast coffee on the spot with great care with you watching, smelling, and hearing every single bean roast. You will also have the opportunity to sample delicious Ethiopian foods and listen to soulful African Jazz music for a truly immersive cultural experience.

Whatever you roast, you can keep!

“Very disappointing customer service. I had to cancel our planned session (£60 already paid) due to unexpected illness and struggled to get a response out of the class organiser on rebooking protocol and possibility to rebook for coming months. I tried several times to follow up and ask for a time to rebook and eventually gave up as she was not responding to me. Such a shame and a big waste of money that she kept the £60 I'd paid and made no effort for us to reschedule the class or get back to me on the refund protocol (even if it had been just to confirm that I wouldn't be able to get a refund, that information would have been useful). I would have been willing to pay additionally for the rebooking but ended up not getting anywhere with this lady and found another coffee roasting class with better service elsewhere.”

“An enjoyable & warming experience. Was shown the traditional way Ethiopia's would make coffee. Involves roasting the beans in a small pan. Then when ready, grinding and prepping the coffee into a small, long necked jug ready to sit back and enjoy. Was v tasty and I enjoyed the relaxed environment with my coffee whilst munching on the cafe’s homemade snacks and relaxing. Defo worth trying, or failing that try out the food. Mmmm.”
